- No automated backups. Beta data may be lost. Don't use beta for production.
- No high-availability replicas (single-instance only).
- No custom configurations (default postgresql.conf, default mongod.conf).
- No multi-region — single-region only.
- All of these arrive in the post-beta hardening phase.

Which versions?
PostgreSQL 15, MongoDB 7.0, Redis 7.2. Version selection unlocks post-MVP.
How do I connect?
Standard connection strings: postgresql://, mongodb+srv://, redis://. TLS is enabled by default. Use psql, mongosh, redis-cli, or any standard library.
Can I migrate from Render / Heroku Postgres?
Yes — pg_dump from your current host, pg_restore to your new Avahana database. We're publishing per-platform migration guides as we approach beta.
Are databases backed up?
Not in beta. Automated backups arrive in the production hardening phase post-beta. Don't put production data on the beta.
